Every year Muskegon Civic Theatre teams up with the Lakeshore Museum Center and Michigan’s Heritage Park to bring haunted history to life!

Guests will tour the park at night and navigate their way through history’s gruesome and chilling legends, myths, and stories. With 10,000 years of horror, nothing is off the table during this two-night event!

MCT is in need of volunteer actors and techies to make this one of a kind event happen! There are six stops along the trail, each with a different scene. Legends and short stories such as The Nain Rouge, The Monkey’s Paw, and  The Michigan Dogman have been converted into script-form so there will be lines to learn!

We also have openings for guides! Our guides lead the tour groups through the entire trail several times a night. While guides will have a script, adding their own improvisational flair to each tour is encouraged!

Non-speaking roles include our monsters and villains, as well as jump-scarers! Interested in makeup or costuming? We need volunteers for that, too!
