Support Us
Muskegon Civic Theatre relies on its volunteers to assist in the production of its season shows and its education programs, to serve on our Board of Directors or one of our Board committees, and to help out at our Scene Shop and in our office.
Volunteers are an essential element of any production. Their work goes on behind the scenes, at the control panel, in the wardrobe room, moving, building, and painting sets, as well as hanging lights. Without their experience and skill there would be no show!
In our MCT productions, the actors are also volunteers, who spend many hours in rehearsal, weeks before opening night, to ensure a quality performance.
Muskegon Civic Theatre’s technical staff is always in need of volunteers to help construct and paint scenery, props, and set dressings. Some experience with tools and building/carpentry is certainly helpful, but not necessary. We will work with all levels of experience!
There is room for any level of experience as long as you share a love of quality theatre, have a little (or a lot) of time on your hands, and want to have some fun!
