Footlights Fun Camp is a one-week theatre arts camp designed to instruct the young performer in musical theatre basics. In the morning, students will rotate to classes to learn skills in four different areas: drama, vocal music, dance, and visual arts. Afternoons will be spent rehearsing for the end-of-the-week performance, Disney’s Aladdin Kids. The camp culminates with a free presentation for family and friends on Friday afternoon at 3:00 pm.

Enrollment Information

• Enrollment for each session is limited to the first 50 registrations.

• A minimum $20 non-refundable deposit is required of all applicants to reserve a camp spot. Full payment must be received 10 days prior to the start date for each session. (June 8, July 13 or August 3)

• Grade level is the grade student will complete by June 8, 2012.

• No tuition reimbursement will be given for cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to the start of a session.

All students will receive a camp t-shirt! Be sure to indicate size selection on registration form.

Participants provide their own brown bag lunches and snacks. Students should dress in comfortable play clothes and closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops or sandals). Tickets for the performance are free of charge and will be available during camp week; availability will be based on camp enrollment.

Scholarship Information

Partial scholarships are available for families who demonstrate need. To receive consideration for aid, you must submit the following items by May 31, 2012:

• School lunch program documentation or most recent W-2

• Letter of recommendation from a teacher

• MCT scholarship application. A form is available online or through the MCT office.
